Felicia's dad was arrested when she was young for the murder of Ben Parker. She was raised and spoiled by her mother so she would not follow in her father's footsteps.

Black Cat[]

Her mother's attempts were useless as Felicia found her dad's old costume and modified it to fit her, she became the Black Cat in order to steal money and help her mother with the bills. She came into conflict with Spider-Man, but their battle ended with a passionate kiss.

Midtown High[]

Felicia's mom enrolled her in Midtown High where she met Peter Parker, the nephew of Ben Parker. The two of them got along quite well because they are both being raised by a single woman in need of money. They began to date, but shortly ended it after Felicia's father was released from prison.

Rejecting her Father[]

Felicia accused her dad for ruining her relationship with Peter. He slapped her and left, leaving her mother all alone. However, Felicia and Peter's relationship lived on in a different sense. Black Cat and Spider-Man kept meeting frequently and continued to kiss at the end of each battle.

Harry Osborn[]

When Harry Osborn was bonded to the Venom symbiote, Felicia mistook him for Spider-Man one day and attempted to follow him home, but he lost her. Later that week she attempted to rob Osborn Manner. She got in through Harry's room and he attempted to stop her, and she believed he was Spider-Man and kissed him. She decided not to rob them and she left, leaving Harry befuddled.

New Relationships[]

Felicia began dropping hints at Harry to let him know she knew he was Spider-Man. He eventually got her alone and asked her what it was all about. She confessed she was the lack Cat, but Harry told her he was only possessed by the Venom symbiote for a time but he was free of it now. She then regretted telling him, but he kissed her and they began a relationship.
