Johnny LaMonica was born on Ra's al Ghul's island and instantly inducted into the League of Shadows. he took a liking to spiders and made a suit that could mimic their abilities. He eventually became Talia al Ghul's right-hand man.
Gotham[]
Black Spider was sent to Gotham to assassinate Batman, but he instead crossed paths with Bane. Bane offered him the chance to escape the Shadows and join him. Spider accepted his offer and became Bane's partner.
