- Pre-Exiles: Alex as Scott Summer's brother but they were separated. Alex was raised poorly and he became a thief. Professor X redeemed him and he joined the X-Men, not knowing Cyclops was his brother. He eventually left with Magneto to join the Brotherhood.
- Post-Exiles: Alex went with Magneto to Genosha, unaware of his brother's death.
