When World War 3 broke out, Viper sided with HYDRA at first. When Baron Strucker was killed, she left HYDRA and sided with America. Somehow, she managed to find a hole that shielded her from the Nuclear bomb. When she emerged she teamed up with Captain America, Wolverine, and Hulk. On their way to Southern Australia, Viper and Wolverine formed a relationship. Little did they know, Wolverine impregnated Viper with a child.
