Once the Hulk was brought down Odin had him imprisoned. After a few months, Thor convinced Odin to visit Hulk. They made a deal: Hulk would be freed after completing eight tasks for Odin. Once he completed every one, he became and Asgardian hero, even becoming knighted by Odin himself.
