History[]
Peter was the original Spider-Man. His life was similar to his mainstream counterpart with minor differences. He ended up marrying Mary Jane Watson, and they had a son, who would eventually become the second Spider-Man. Peter became a chemistry professor at ESU. After David was inducted into the Exiles, Peter and MJ thought he was dead. The new host to the Venom symbiote masqueraded as the new Spider-Man, so Peter came out of retirement and stopped him until David and the Exiles visited his home reality.
