Jessica's history closely followed that of her mainstream counterpart. Since she was replaced by the Skrull Queen, Jessica insisted on joining the Avengers squad hunting Skrulls. After Storm was inducted into the Avengers, it didn't effect Jessica much, since she and Storm weren't close.
